This study examined the association of levels of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) with cardiometabolic risk factors in youth enrolled in National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) over 10 years (1999-2002 and 2007-2012). We identified that higher levels of TSH were associated with abdominal obesity and insulin resistance while controlling for age, sex, race/ethnicity and level of obesity.
