Phased diploid genome assemblies for <i>Urtica dioica</i> ssp. <i>dioica</i>

<b>Nettle_female_H1_genome.fa &amp; Nettle_female_H2_genome.fa</b>Haplotype-resolved chromosome-scale genome assemblies (Haplotype 1 (FH1) and Haplotype 2 (FH2) in .fasta format), assembled using PacBio HiFi + Hi-C. This assembly is for a female diploid individual of stinging nettle (Urtica dioica ssp. dioica) associated with the following paper: https://doi.org/10.3390/plants14010124. Note: Due to their requirements, the assemblies deposited on NCBI (GCA_048565285.1, GCA_048565295.1) are trimmed to remove any contigs &lt;200 bp in length. The ones posted here have all the small contigs that were presented in the manuscript.<br><b>Nettle_male_H1_genome.fa &amp; Nettle_male_H2_genome.fa</b>Haplotype-resolved chromosome-scale genome assemblies (Haplotype 1 (MH1) and Haplotype 2 (MH2) in .fasta format), assembled using PacBio HiFi + Hi-C. This assembly is for a male diploid individual of stinging nettle (Urtica dioica ssp. dioica), a biological son of the female assembled previously, and is currently prepared in the manuscript. Note: The assemblies are also found under NCBI (under PRJNA1308592 (MH1) and PRJNA1308630 (MH2)) in processing.
