Community Weed Alliance of the Dandenongs - Dandenong Ranges Green Army Project

The project involves a team to assist with public and private land works primarily around the Dandenong Ranges. It will focus on the Southern and Eastern areas surrounding the Puffing Billy Corridor. This corridor provides an opportunity to establish a significant bio-link which stretches from the Dandenongs in the West to Bunyip State Parks in the East. These works will complement works already being undertaken by environmental volunteers groups including the Community Weed Alliance in the Dandenongs (CWAD), Southern Ranges Environmental Alliance and Puffing Billy. It will build on the works of the Urban Fringe Weed Management Initiative (UFWMI) which combines the efforts of Council, Melbourne Water and Parks Victoria.
