This study investigates how subchronic arsenic exposure alters the gut microbiome and whether supplementation with Lactobacillus plantarum ATCC 14917 can reduce arsenic-associated dysbiosis. Fecal samples from control, arsenic-exposed, and arsenic plus probiotic-treated mice were analyzed using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing to evaluate microbial diversity, community structure, and taxonomic shifts.
