Circle Viersen Digital Orthophotos Floor Resolution 10 cm

Orthophotos are high-resolution, distortion-free, true-to-scale images of the Earth’s surface. They are produced by photogrammetric methods in knowledge of the orientation parameters and with the addition of a digital elevation model from aerial images, which are available as perpendicular images. Digital orthophotos are georeferenced, are widely available and are renewed in a 2-year cycle. They are manufactured according to the product standard of the country based on the definitions of an AdV standard (AdV Working Group of Surveying Administrations of the Länder) and have a soil resolution of 10 cm/pixel. These are 4-channel multispectral images with the channel assignment RGBI (Red-Green-Blue-Nahes infrared). With the Image Flight 2018 the processing of the DOP as a True Orthophoto was introduced with the same geometric and radiometric qualities as before.
