Current needs and proposals for the management of licenses for software components

This study describes the current state of public administration’s open source license management, the risks arising from the current state of play and the potential obstacles to the further use of open source software produced by the public administration. In addition, the study describes the methods, tools and services used to manage licences and recommends what kind of practices should be used in public administration open source projects in the future.
