Effect of deep-rooted tropical grasses as preceding crops in soil health and soybean yield in Brazil

The inclusion of deep-rooted tropical grasses as cover crops in agricultural systems aims to achieve environmental, economic, and productive benefits, contributing to improve the sustainability of these systems. Conducting a comprehensive assessment of the effects of deep-rooted tropical grasses as preceding crops on soybean yield and SH would require multiple field studies using conventional experimental approaches. This challenge, however, can be addressed through meta-analytical studies. Thus, this data was compiled for assess the influence of deep-rooted tropical grasses, used as preceding crops, on soil health (SH) and soybean yield and in Brazil.
