Dihydroartemisinin alleviates the symptoms of a mouse model of systemic lupus erythematosus by regulating splenic T and B cell heterogeneity.

We employed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) using the 10x Genomics platform to investigate the impact of dihydroartemisinin (DHA) on the cellular composition and gene expression of splenic T and B cells in MRL/lpr mice, a widely used animal model of SLE. This study aims to elucidate the immunomodulatory effects of DHA at the single-cell level and provide insights into potential therapeutic mechanisms for autoimmune diseases.
