Use contributory Wlz care; delivery form,zzp,region

This table shows the number and proportion of persons aged 18 years or over who make use of contributory care financed by the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz) in the reporting year and which on the reference date. This includes persons who are Wlz-indicable. Persons using duty-contributory care on the basis of one of the grant schemes shall not be taken into account. Care covered by the Wlz can be delivered to clients as care in kind (zin) or from a personal budget (pgb). This concerns only persons who are registered in the Basic Registration of Personal Data (BRP) during the reporting year or on the reference date. In addition, the number of care days in the reporting year was given. The figures are broken down by gender, age category, delivery form of care, care gravity package (zzp) and region. In 2015, persons using care with delivery form complete package at home (vpt) were not unambiguously registered. Part of the persons with vpt is registered under delivery form vpt, part under delivery form Wlz with stay. Persons registered under delivery form vpt will be counted in 2015 at Wlz with stay. Figures on the number and proportion of persons with delivery form vpt are unknown in 2015. When using Wlz care with delivery form modular package at home (mpt), no self-employed persons were registered by the CAK in 2015 and 2016. From 2017 onwards, some of the persons with mpt have a registered self-employed person. Persons with mpt are included in the category “No care gravity package” for the purpose of comparability of the figures. Persons with the combination mpt-pgb are counted towards the zzp of the pgb. Amendments as of 6 December 2023: Preliminary figures for 2022 have been added and the 2021 figures have been finalised. When will there be new figures? The provisional figures shall be published no later than 12 months after the end of the reporting year. When new annual figures are published, the previous year’s figures become final.
