Transission electron micrograph of a typical lipid droplet. In places the encapsulating phospholipid monolayer is evident. This image was taken in a sertraline-treated swa2 mutant yeast cell. (31,500X). An image fusing lipid droplets in a similarly treated yeast mutant is available as CIL 40427.
