Oven Design for In-situ thermal extraction of volatiles from lunar regolith

A finite element model of cylindrical ovens for volatile extraction from lunar regolith is developed.The paper presents a realistic heating oven design for in-situ extraction of volatiles from lunar regolith.The oven could serve as water-ice content detector based on the sample heating curve.
