Genome-wide profiling of miRNA-gene regulatory networks in mouse postnatal heart development - implications for cardiac regeneration

This study investigated differential expression in miRNAs during neonatal mouse heart development; particularly in ventricular tissues. We developed a predictive miRNA-gene regulatory network using computational approach. Based on this approach we demonstrated miRNAs role in neonatal heart development and potential role in heart regeneration. Neonatal mouse heart tissues were collected on P01, P04, P9, P23 days. RNA sequencing was performed in all collected heart tissue samples. Four biological replicates were used for each time point.
本研究探究了新生小鼠心脏发育过程中microRNAs (miRNAs)的差异表达情况,尤其聚焦于心室组织。本研究通过计算方法构建了miRNA-基因调控预测网络。基于该计算方法,本研究验证了miRNAs在新生小鼠心脏发育中的调控作用,以及其在心脏再生中潜在的功能。研究人员在出生后第1、4、9、23天(P01、P04、P9、P23)采集新生小鼠心脏组织样本,对全部采集的心脏组织样本开展了RNA测序。每个时间点均设置4个生物学重复样本。
