A Curated Dataset of Regional Meteor Events with Simultaneous Optical and Infrasound Observations

This dataset presents a curated archive of 71 regional meteor events recorded between 2006 and 2011 through simultaneous optical and infrasound observations in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. The events were captured using the all-sky camera network and the Elginfield Infrasound Array (ELFO), providing multi-sensor datasets that include raw and limited processed optical data, infrasound waveform data in both CSS3 and miniSEED formats, and atmospheric specifications suitable for propagation modeling. Each event is time-indexed (UTC) and stored in structured folders following FAIR data principles. Associated metadata and summary tables enable rapid access and filtering for modeling and analytical purposes. Atmospheric profiles are provided in both legacy (UKMO-HWM) and G2S formats to support various acoustic modeling approaches. This open-access dataset serves as a foundational reference for research in meteor physics, atmospheric acoustics, shock wave propagation, and planetary defense. All data are fully documented, reproducible, and compatible with common analysis tools including ObsPy and SAC. A user guide and per-module README files are included.
