Data from https://www.deutschlandatlas.bund.de : Share of the population living at a maximum of 600 m or 1.200 m at railway stations by one stop with at least 20 departures in public transport per day, in 2020 in %: Public transport (ÖV) is central to ensuring the mobility of all people and a prerequisite for participation in social life, care and equal opportunities. The proportion of the population living around a station within a 600 metre radius with at least 20 departures per day or within a radius of 1,200 meters around a station is around 90 percent nationwide.
