INGV Spectral Library — Kaolinite reference spectra from Sasso di Furbara (sample subset)

This dataset is a representative subset of the INGV Spectral Library, an institutional web-based spatial data infrastructure for the management and consultation of multidisciplinary spectral archives. It contains VNIR–SWIR reflectance spectra of eight kaolinite samples collected at the Sasso di Furbara quarry (Rome, Italy). Spectral measurements were performed in the laboratory at INGV with an ASD FieldSpec 4 Standard-Res spectrometer (contact probe) over the 0.35–2.5 µm range (350–2500 nm, 2151 bands). The complete INGV Spectral Library is maintained under institutional controlled access; this subset is released openly to support findability, reuse, and citation.
