VPRS 18243 Transcripts [Published]

This series consists of the transcripts of the public hearings held by the Royal Commission into Family Violence (RCFV). The transcripts in this series are those that were published to the Commission's website during the course of the Commission, being published on the working day following each hearing. There is a transcript for each hearing day.Twenty-five days of public hearings were held during a four-week period in July-August 2015 and a week in October 2015. The hearings were organised around 23 modules that focussed on specific topics. Note that some matters initially considered by the Commission were not covered in the public hearings. Roundtables and other forms of consultation were used instead (see VPRS 18234 Transcripts [Legal Discovery / Case Management System]).The key information recorded for each transcript in this series includes the hearing day number, date and hearing-module title.Note that the Commission reserved the right not to publish or to redact (black out) parts of transcripts for legal, privacy and/or safety reasons.
