The inter-day repeatability of parameters for the assessment of progressive disease in keratoconus

This investigation is based on measurements obtained by the Pentacam HR and the Nidek ARK-560 A three days apart in subjects with keratoconus eligible for corneal crosslinking. The results suggest at what change in magnitude of commonly used parameters a progression of keratoconus can be detected. The repeatability in measurements of maximum keratometry (Kmax) depends on disease magnitude, and the limits at which progression can be detected benefit from being stratified according to disease magnitude.
