Sector accounts; special Financial Institutions 1995-2012

This table contains the data of the sectors of other financial institutions and abroad. The data are both inclusive and exclusive of the Special Financial Institutions (BFIs). In addition, this table gives an overview of all economic sub-processes for other financial institutions and abroad, such as production, goods and services transactions, income distribution and financing. Because the data are available both with and without BFIs, one gets a description of the role played by the BFIs. Then one sees the size and coherence of the various economic activities and their relationship. The financial transactions (FT) and other changes (OM) can be observed between the initial balance sheet (BB) and the final balance sheet (EB). All these data are intended to provide a detailed and clear picture of the receivables and debts classified by financial transaction categories. The following shall apply to the financial balance sheets: BB + FT + OM = EB. Data available from 1995 to 2012. Status of the figures The figures since 1995 are final. The two most recent years still have a (further) provisional character. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
