LA-ICP-MS datasets of carbonate microfacies used in "Multi-element signatures of precipitation and diagenetic processes in sedimentary carbonates revealed by 30-µm-scale laser-ablation mapping"

This dataset contains spatially resolved elemental measurements obtained using laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) from multiple carbonate microfacies analyzed in “Multi-element signatures of precipitation and diagenetic processes in sedimentary carbonates revealed by 30-µm-scale laser-ablation mapping”. The data were generated to investigate micron-scale geochemical heterogeneity and identify geochemical reaction domains associated with primary precipitation and diagenetic processes in sedimentary carbonates. These data are provided in CSV format, with each file corresponding to a specific microfacies or sample type. The manuscript is currently in review at the American Journal of Science.
