RNA-seq of the highland barley (Hordeum vulgare L. var. nudum) mutants

Comparative transcriptomic analysis was applied to two highland barley mutation materials with unique phenotypic variants derived from nitrogen ion beam implantation. It was revealed the metabolic pathways or genes perhaps linked to the phenotypic variations. In addition, adaptive mechanisms of the higland barley to high-altitude environments were also investigated.
