某型号盾构机用主轴承在使用过程中发生失效。为了查明盾构机轴承失效原因,设备使用方委托中国科学院金属研究所材料失效分析中心对该轴承失效部分进行分析,找出轴承失效的原因。据介绍,盾构机主轴承材料为 42CrMo,采用感应淬火工艺。

The main bearing of a certain type of shield machine failed during service. To identify the failure cause of the shield machine's main bearing, the equipment owner commissioned the Material Failure Analysis Center of the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences to analyze the failed component of the bearing and determine the root cause of the failure. It is noted that the main bearing of the shield machine is made of 42CrMo steel and was manufactured via the induction hardening process.
