Effect of depletion of Piezo1 on gene expression during apoptosis of anulus fibrosus cells induced by mechanical stretch

To investigate the effect of Piezo1 in the apoptosis of anulus fibrous cells (AFCs) induced by mechanical stretch. We established AFCs in which Piezo1 channel has been knocked down by shRNA. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of AFCs treated withpLVX-shRNA-Puro(Lv-Ctrl group) and AFCs treated with pLVX-shRNA-Puro-Piezo1(Lv-Piezo1 group). Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for AFCs AFCs in Lv-Ctrl group and Lv-Piezo1 group.
