RNA-Seq of juvenile and early adolescent muscle

We report significant differences in muscle gene expression during postnatal development (4-8 weeks), especially in regards to ECM content, AMPK signalling, and calcium handling. RNA was isolated from gastrocnemius muscle of 4, 6, and 8- week mice. RNA Seq was performed to look at differences in gene expression.我们报道了小鼠出生后发育阶段（4至8周）骨骼肌基因表达的显著差异，尤其涉及细胞外基质（Extracellular Matrix, ECM）含量、腺苷酸活化蛋白激酶（AMP-activated protein kinase, AMPK）信号通路以及钙调控过程。研究人员从4周、6周及8周龄小鼠的腓肠肌中分离得到RNA，并通过RNA测序（RNA Sequencing, RNA Seq）分析基因表达差异。
