Five sediment gravity cores were collected from the Daya Bay in August 27 to August 28, 2020. Microbial communities of the top ~50 cm of each sediment core was analyzed by Illumina MiSeq sequencing. The microbial composition of the sediment core varied with the different sites, but not with the sediment depth.
