Comparison of bronchial epithelial cells obtained by bronchoscopy from severe asthma patients before and after thermoplasty treatment

In this study we explore the underlying differences in bronchial epithelial cells from severe asthma patients obtained before and after thermlasty treatment. The effect of the treatment on bronchial epithelial cells will be revealed based on the genes differentialy expressed post treatment. Bronchoscopy was performed in severe asthma patients before (n=23) and after (n=23) thermoplasty treatment to obtain bronhial epithelial cells.
