Research Question 1 focuses on how policies on infection prevention and control (IPC) for drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) evolved and have been implemented in the content of primary health care reforms in South Africa. This study focuses on policy actor perspectives on the underlying drivers of TB-IPC policy implementation. It is part of a larger project entitled: Umoya Omuhle - Infection Prevention and Control for Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis in South Africa in the Era of Decentralised Care: A Whole Systems Approach. The data was collected in South Africa, Switzerland, Boston, London from 2018-2020.
