Graph 2010 Parcellar Register: outlines of the growing islands and their group of crops that are the majority of farms

Community Regulation (EC) No 1593/2000 introduced an obligation in all Member States to locate and identify agricultural parcels.In order to meet this requirement, France has set up the Graphic Parcellar Register (GPR), which is a geographical information system for the identification of agricultural parcels. Thus, each year, farmers send to the administration an area declaration file which includes, in particular, the drawing of the cultivation islands they exploit and the crops grown there. The islets are located on the scale of 1:5000 on the photographic background of the comic Ortho (IGN) and their update is annual. This database is therefore a large-scale and regularly updated description of the majority of agricultural land.The data available through Etalab, for a given metropolitan department, are the contours of the “anonymised” islets of the RPG and their cultural occupation represented by the majority crop group of the islet. These raw data, in vector mode, are encoded in Shapefile format according to a data model described in an associated file.The geometry of the islets is in Latitude/Longitude in the Lambert projection system 93.The winning content provided is the value of the code of the majority crop group in the island.
