Dataset for Integrating annualized hours, multiskilling, and temporary workers for robust workforce planning under demand uncertainty

This repository contains datasets associated with the research paper "Integrating annualized hours, multiskilling, and temporary workers for robust workforce planning under demand uncertainty", which proposes a novel approach to improve workforce management under demand uncertainty by integrating three flexible labor arrangements.

The repository contains two primary compressed files. The initial file, designated as ‘Data’, encompasses the real, processed, and simulated data utilized in the three sets of experimental tests, as outlined in Section 5 of the article.

The second file, designated ‘Results’, comprises three Excel workbooks: The following results are characterized by the presence of gaps and computational times: ‘A1-results-gaps-and-computational-times’, ‘A2-results-gaps-and-computational-times’ and ‘CA-results-gaps-and-computational-times’. The first Excel workbook contains all the optimality gaps and solution times obtained for the 15 tests of the deterministic model. The second Excel workbook presents the optimality gaps and solution times corresponding to 15 tests from the second set of analyses. The third Excel workbook presents the optimality gaps and solution times obtained for the 60 tests associated with the convergence analysis.
