The Lichess puzzles dataset contains 4,407,884 chess puzzles that are rated and tagged, and is updated monthly. The creation of the dataset involved significant computational resources and analysis, including re-analyzing 300,000,000 analyzed games and using Stockfish 12/13/14/15 NNUE for analysis. Each puzzles rating is calculated using the Glicko-2 system, and tags are refined and popularity is defined through player votes. The dataset fields include PuzzleId, FEN, Moves, Rating, RatingDeviation, Popularity, NbPlays, Themes, GameUrl, and OpeningTags.
