Different effects of EEG-guided cerebellar gamma High-Definition transcranial alternate current stimulation (HD-tACS) on social-cognitive operations
收藏资源简介:
Introduction This database includes the raw data linked with the paper “ Different effects of EEG-guided cerebellar gamma High-Definition transcranial alternate current stimulation (HD-tACS) on social-cognitive operations” submitted to the Human Brain Mapping journal. In this paper, we reported behavioral data of healthy adults receiving EEG-guided transcranial alternate current stimulation (tACS) over the cerebellum. Methods In two experiments, fifty-six (28 per experiment) male and female participants completed three sessions of cerebellar EEG-guided gamma HD-tACS while receiving stimulation over the left cerebellar hemisphere, the right cerebellar hemisphere and a sham stimulation. During the stimulation participants performed behavioral tasks requiring them to make inference about others’ mental states or traits. Measures of accuracy and reaction times were collected and compared across conditions. Results (in brief) Cerebellar gamma HD-tACS modulated socio-cognitive operations, with effects varying as a function of both the specific inferential process and the cerebellar sector stimulated.
