EAMv1 for Yang et al. (2024)

This data repository contains simulation output from DOE E3SMv1/EAMv1 model. The simulations were performed in nudging mode toward reanalysis data, spanning 11 NSF and 3 DOE airborne campaigns, including NSF campaigns CONTRAST, CSET, DC3, HIPPO, ORCAS, OTREC, PREDICT, SOCRATES, START08, TORERO, and WINTER, as well as DOE campaigns ACME-V, ISDAC, and M-PACE. Model output files are in .nc (NetCDF) format, and analysis files generated from the model output are in .mat (MATLAB) format. These model outputs were utilized in the analysis presented in the Yang et al. (2024) manuscript, "Hemispheric Asymmetries of Mixed-Phase Cloud Properties Based on Near Global-Scale Airborne Observations," by Ching An Yang, Minghui Diao, Yang Shi, and Xiaohong Liu.
