We present complete genome sequences of five isolates along with unassembled reads of Streptococcus agalactiae isolated from Shenzhen, China. These genome sequences add to the existing publicly available group B Streptococcus (GBS) genomes and provide insights into GBS epidemiology as well as mechanisms of pathogenicity and antibiotic resistance of GBS in neonatal patients.
