Dual subduction and progressive intracontinental deformation during closure of the Arabia–Eurasia convergence since the Late Triassic
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the GPlates reconstruction model developed for the Arabian-Eurasia convergence in the Central-Western Tethyan belt and used in Heidari et al. (2026). The archive includes rotation files, topological features, plate boundaries, static polygons, continental polygons, coastlines, deformation network layers, gridded outputs, and example GPlates project files required to visualize and reconstruct the tectonic evolution of the study area. The dataset is intended for use in GPlates and provides the files necessary to reproduce the regional plate reconstruction framework, including plate kinematics, boundary geometries, deforming domains, and supplementary spatial layers. Gridded outputs included in the archive comprise age grids and spreading-rate grids used for visualization and analysis. This dataset accompanies the manuscript: Heidari et al. (2026), “Dual subduction and progressive intracontinental deformation during closure of the Arabia–Eurasia convergence since the Late Triassic." Version note: This version contains the same dataset as the original release. The archive has been repackaged into a smaller compressed file to improve download accessibility; no scientific content has been added, removed, or modified.
