Purpose: This measure of materials collected at curbside by Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) or ARR-managed vendors tracks materials that are recycled or reused instead of taken to the landfill. Source: All measure data is tracked internally through the Solid Waste Tracking System (SWTS) and through third-party vendor reports.
Contains: Total diversion tonnage vs. total tonnage of materials collected, shown monthly but collected and analyzed annually. Usage: This data is used to analyze service and programs needs. It is used to help Austin Resource Recovery determine performance of department goals.
