Dastarcus helophoroides is an economically important ectoparasitoid used for the biological control of longhorn beetles. This species undergoes four larval instars before entering the pupal stage. In this project, transcriptome sequencing was performed across five developmental stages (L1, L2, L3, L4, and prepupal) to identify and functionally characterize key genes involved in molting and metamorphosis.
