This dataset originates from two independent studies aimed at exploring employees' endorsement of AI emergent leadership, with a particular focus on the role of AI empathic concern in this process. The dataset includes survey and experimental data collected from the two studies, covering employees' emotional and cognitive responses to AI agent leadership.Study 1: SurveyData Type: Survey dataSample Description: The data from Study 1 were collected from 307 participants across multiple industries, including technology, internet, finance, and healthcare. All participants had collaborated with AI agents in their work.Variable Description: The data includes multiple ratings related to AI empathic concern, perceived artificiality, emotional transportation, and endorsement of AI emergent leadership. A 5-point or 7-point scale was used to measure each variable, and all scales were validated using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA).Data Collection Method: Data were collected through an online platform, with the data collected in two waves, one week apart.Study 2: Scenario ExperimentData Type: Experimental dataSample Description: The data from Study 2 were collected from 560 participants, none of whom had participated in Study 1.
