In this study, we analysed 20 neurons obtained from two rhesus macaque (Macaca mulatta) hippocampus samples, as well as matched bulk liver samples. Individual neurons were assayed via whole genome sequencing (WGS) and retrotransposon capture sequencing (RC-seq). We then searched for non-reference somatic genome variants in each neuron.
