This dataset contains data for 28 cows. Fourteen cows were submitted to a nutritional high starch Challenge and 14 cows were under a control Low starch diet. Cows were sampled once for rumen juice using a gastric pump at 08:00 before morning feeding and after milking. Dataset1 comes from INRAE Herbipôle experimental farm (DOI: https://doi.org/10.15454/1.5572318050509348E12). This dataset contains values for each 28 cows (in mM or in %) for acetate, propionate, Butyrate, Isobutyrate, Valerate, Isovalerate, Caproate. Also, Acetate/propionate ratio is available as well as ammonia concentration in mM.
