Interpreted Seismic Profiles and Tomographic Images of the Pantano-Ripa-Rossa Fault System, Southern Italy

This dataset includes high-resolution seismic interpretation images and tomographic results related to the seismic imaging of the Pantano-Ripa-Rossa Fault system, located in the eastern sector of the Pantano di San Gregorio Magno basin (Southern Apennines, Italy). The data support the findings presented in the article: Pier Paolo Bruno, Giuseppe Ferrara, et al., “3D high-resolution seismic imaging of elusive seismogenic faults: the Pantano-Ripa Rossa fault, Southern Italy ,” submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, 2025. The repository contains: Interpreted 2D and 3D seismic sections illustrating fault geometries and stratigraphic architectures; Seismic time, inline and cross-line slices extracted from the 3D seismic volume; Tomographic profiles from active-source seismic tomography; All data are intended to improve the understanding of fault complexity, structural relationships, and basin evolution in active intramontane tectonic settings. The figures are provided in high-resolution formats and may be used for educational and research purposes with proper citation. Due to confidentiality agreements, raw seismic data are not included but may be shared upon reasonable request to the authors.
