Wi-Fi Connection in HKUST Library

Quantitative data of Wi-Fi connection in the Library building of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology collected between February 2014 and May 2022. This dataset provides usage estimation and trends relating to the number of users in the Library, by floors, user types, time periods and days. Tabulated data files are provided to the Library by the Information Technology Services Center every month, after processing the raw logs of the Wi-Fi access points located within the Library building.

本数据集收集了香港科技大学图书馆建筑内Wi-Fi连接的定量数据，时间跨度为2014年2月至2022年5月。该数据集提供了关于图书馆用户数量使用估计和趋势的分析，包括楼层、用户类型、时间段及日期等方面的信息。信息技术服务中心每月向图书馆提供经过处理的Wi-Fi接入点原始日志的表格化数据文件。
