The goal was to assess the bacterial diversity in gut of earthworm inhabiting different farming systems. The earthworms were collected from natural and conventional farming fields and were subjected to 16S rRNA microbiome profiling using Illumina Miseq platform to study the variation in the diversity of microbes.
