Location of migratory fish monitoring stations on the Adour-Garonne watershed.

The network of control stations (STACOMI), which are usually located at the level of the crossing devices, allows for the control of the migration of species to the run and/or to the deval through a video counting or trapping device.

This count makes it possible to estimate migratory stocks for a given watershed and provides information on the health status of the populations and their migratory flows. It also contributes to the evaluation of the effectiveness of the crossing device.

The network of these monitoring stations therefore provides information on the qualitative and quantitative status of migratory fish populations and their migratory flows.

This network consists of 19 control stations distributed as follows:

— 9 stations on the Garonne River
— 10 stations on the Adour River
