资源简介:
As the demand for protein-rich animal feeds continues to rise, researchers in the field of animal nutrition are increasingly focusing on identifying alternative products to traditional sources, such as soybean meal and fish meal. Research on alternative resources like insect protein, algae protein, and microbial protein is growing annually.Edible grass belongs to the genus Rumex and is a hybrid of the female parent Rumex K-1 and the male parent Rumex patientia L. One of the notable characteristics of Edible grass is its high Crude Protein (CP) content, ranging from 30% to 48.7%, along with an impressive yield of 9000 to 18000 kg per hectare. Its potential as a substitute for soybean meal and fish meal has garnered attention from researchers, and Edible grass has already been successfully applied in both food and feed sectors following safety evaluations in China, establishing itself as a novel raw material for food production. It is crucial for professionals engaged in feed and cultivation operations to enhance their understanding of the utilization of food grasses in diverse animal species. We are presently conducting research on the utilization of Edible grass in various animal species. Our objective is to find the ideal proportion of Edible grass to include in broiler chicken or other animal diets that usually consist of a substantial amount of soybean meal. This will be achieved through conducting gradient tests.
