Above-ground catchment areas of the state of Brandenburg

The present database (ezg25.shp, version 4.3) contains the geometries of the catchment areas version 4.3. Elevation information was used as the basis for the construction of the catchment boundaries. the topographic maps on a scale of 1:10,000 and the digital terrain models with grid widths of 2 m, 5 m and 25 m. In addition, for the construction of the water sheaths, the Information on flowing waters, drainage trenches and drainages from the digital Water network wnet25 as well as the cadastres of water and soil associations used. For the production of a hydrologically and water-efficiently complete database, the catchment areas extend partly beyond the national border. The database contains at least the catchment areas of all flowing waters that are report-relevant in accordance with the Water Framework Directive (basket area > 10 km²).
