Single -cell type transcriptomic and imprintomic analysis in the mouse cerebral cortex

Some imprinted genes were observed in a cell-type-specific manner. However, genome-wide profiling of cell-type-specific genes has not been performed in the brain. We addressed this question and identified cell-type-specific and strain-specific monoallelically expressed genes in the mouse cerebral cortex. Overall design: We performed RNA-Seq and followup statistical analysis on excitatory neurons, inhibitory neurons, and astrocytes of mouse cerebral cortex.
