资源简介:
Pollen analysis of samples from the Brady Site (5RB726) and the Dripping Brow Cave Site (5RB699) was undertaken in conjunction with archaeological investigations of these sites. Both sites are located in the Canyon Pintado Historic District in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. The Brady Site is a large campsite located along the exposed edges of the main Douglas Creek arroyo, at an elevation of 5410 feet and dates from before A. D. 200 to the protohistoric period. The Dripping Brow Cave Site is located at the base of a cliff along the east side of the Douglas Creek floodplain, at an elevation of 5760 feet. This site dates from before A. D. 200 until after A. D. 1500 and is a deeply stratified rock shelter with accompanying rock art.
