This project aims to determine whether segmental and spatial organisation of warm and cold responding afferents within the spinal cord affect the presence and intensity of the Thermal Grill Illusion; an illusory experience of burning and/or painful heat during the simulteanous stimulation of non-noxious warm and cold primary afferents.
本项研究旨在探究脊髓中热和冷反应传入神经的节段性和空间组织是否影响热炉幻觉的出现及其强度;热炉幻觉是指在非有害的热和冷初级传入神经同时刺激下,所产生的一种感觉错觉,表现为燃烧感及/或疼痛的热感。
