Studying ARGs in pristine environments with limited human impact can help better understand the intrinsic soil resistome. In the present study, metagenomic sequencing and bioinformatics were conducted to investigate microbial communities, antibiotic resistance genes, and integron integrase genes in soil samples collected from a pristine Tibetan plateau environment.
