This intervention study evaluates the serious game Klim:S21 (www.klims21.rgeo.de). 722 young pupils between 13 and 20 years old took part in workshops embedding the game. We address its effect on <i>objective</i> and <i>subjective</i> <i>knowledge</i> about CCA and constructs based on a modified Protection Motivation Theory: <i>risk perception</i> and <i>fear</i> (risk appraisals), <i>trust in actors</i> and <i>measures </i>of CCA (coping appraisals), as well as <i>adaptive</i> and <i>maladaptive reactions</i>.
