The figures represent the percentage of long-term unemployed in all unemployed. An unemployed person according to §16 SGB III is a person who has no employment (less than 15 hours per week), is looking for work subject to insurance, is available to the labour market and is registered with an agency for work or a basic insurance institution. Long-term unemployed under §18 SGB III are unemployed who are unemployed for one year and longer.
